This course is an exegetical study of Johannine Literature (the Gospel of John and the Epistles of John). Social and historical contexts of these documents will be examined. Special attention will be given to the Christian reading of these texts. Literary structure, hermeneutical considerations, theological message, and personal applications are included.
Prerequisites: BIBL 1033 and BIBL 1043..
