Effective use of compensation and benefit concepts and principles to understand, apply, and develop Human Resource Management policies and practices that contribute to organizational goals. Topics include incentive and merit pay, pay satisfaction, compensation legislation, and the distribution of pay benefits. Classes are taught using a combination of lectures, discussions, in-class exercises, and presentations.
Prerequisite: MGMT 3203.
