Notes: The first Interdisciplinary concentration is Education and the second and third Interdisciplinary concentrations are Language Arts and a combination of courses. Students in this major may add the following coursework to support the Supplemental Special Education certificate: EDUC 4113 Overview of Special Education, EDUC 4233 Teaching Students with Learning Differences and Behavior Disorders, and EDUC 4313 Education Strategies for Individuals with Disabilities. Students successfully completing these three courses will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental Special Education TExES exam. Students in this major may add the following coursework to support the Supplemental English as a Second Language certificate: Students successfully completing the course READ 4363 and 6 additional course hours selected from EDUC or READ courses will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental English as a Second Language TExES exam.
