This course surveys multicultural education in P-12 schools, while incorporating the analysis of the relationship between cultural pluralism and the learning process within American schools. Special emphasis will be on instructional and language acquisition strategies for at-risk populations.
Prerequisite: The student must currently be enrolled in or have successfully completed a Teacher Education program.
