BIBL 3203 Historical Books (L) | Class hours: 3 Lab hours: 0 | Semesters Available: Spring Years Available: All | | An historical, hermeneutical, and theological examination of the Historical Books of the Old Testament including the Former Prophets, (Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings) as well as the post-exilic historical writings (the work of the Chronicler, Ezra-Nehemiah and Esther). Particular attention will be given to issues of Hebrew historiography, its development, and literary techniques. | | Prerequisites: BIBL 1003 and BIBL 2003. |
