An intensive review of the fundamentals of English grammar and practice in correct usage and expression with improvement of reading techniques, comprehension, vocabulary, and rate. Required of all students whose ACT/SAT scores and/or high school English grades indicate deficiency in language skills. Not required for students with ENGL 1013 transfer credit. Not applicable to graduation requirements.
