Students focus on structuring and managing the learning environment, understanding how motivation affects group and individual behavior, developing a supportive and responsive classroom community, fostering supportive school-home relationships, applying reinforcement theory, maintaining a supportive environment, and providing feedback on student progress during instruction. This course is taken as part of the student teaching block.

This course has been designated as a leadership course by the Center for the Development of Christian Leadership.
