The School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, as well as an academic minor in the field. The marketing concept begins with the needs and wants of consumers and then develops appropriate products or services through research, development, and design. Marketing students develop skills necessary for strategic planning, qualitative and quantitative research, utilization of current technology (including e-commerce), and a global perspective. Marketing internships, typically experienced during the senior year, prove to be very helpful in preparing students for their careers.
