Notes: The first Interdisciplinary concentration is Education and the second and third Interdisciplinary concentrations are Language Arts and a combination of courses. Students successfully completing the three courses EDUC 4353, READ 4313, and READ 4323 will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental English as a Second Language TExES exam. Students successfully completing the alternate three courses EDUC 4113, EDUC 4233, and EDUC 4313 will be eligible to sit for the Supplemental Special Education TExES exam.
1: Minimum grade of 'B' required
2: BIOL 1113 & 1111 General Biology I & Lab may be substituted for BIOL 1014.
3: EDUC 4113 Overview of Special Education may be substituted for READ 4323.
4: EDUC 4313 Education Strategies for Individuals with Disabilities may be substituted for READ 4313.
5: EDUC 4233 Teaching Students with Learning Differences and Behavior Disorders may be substituted for EDUC 4353.
