Students focus on learning theory, effective teaching practices, instructional strategies, and roles, including self-directed learning and collaboration, ways of encouraging independent thinkers and problem solvers, and selection and evaluations of textbooks and other instructional materials. Students will observe and participate in 8th - 12th grade classrooms in assigned schools.
