Animal Physiology

A detailed study of physiological diversity in animals. Emphasis will be placed on physiological adaptations of organisms to their habitats. Topics include functioning of cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, excretory, muscular, nervous, and respiratory systems. Consideration will be given to major groups of invertebrates and vertebrates.
Prerequisite: BIOL 3604.
