A survey of the field of biochemistry including carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins, enzymes, nucleic acids and their roles in metabolism. The laboratory reinforces the lecture but focuses on techniques for isolating and manipulating biomolecules including enzyme kinetics. (Same as BIOL 4304.)
