The application of statistics to industrial processes including: statistical measures, histogram analysis, construction and analysis of control charts of variables and attributes, acceptance sampling plans, statistical aspects of tolerances, and fundamentals of experimental design. The principles of Deming are emphasized.
Prerequisite: MATH 3403 with a minimum grade of B or permission of instructor.
