We have all watched with heavy hearts the devastation brought by Hurricane Harvey. The LeTourneau University family includes many who are impacted directly by this devastation, and our prayers are for and with them. Many in our LETU Nation are hurting. We are a community of builders and together we will join in the rebuilding. The rebuilding work that will need to be done in the coming days, months, and years is only possible with the power of God and the faithfulness of His people.
We have had many conversations over the last few weeks with students who want to help in some fashion. We have heard from several students and groups of students who have already traveled to the affected areas to help with the restoration process.
LeTourneau Student Ministries is organizing a Fall Break trip (HEART - Harvey Encouragement and Relief Trip) to the greater-Houston area.

On Friday October 6th from 5 - 10 PM Chipotle (415 E Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605) is donating 50% of revenue. You MUST tell them you are there for the fundraiser.
We know that many are interested in helping on their own. LETU encourages you to connect with a local organization that can help guide you to individuals in need. We have also collected a few resources to help you think through some things such as what to bring, what the conditions will be like, etc.
Questions about donations can be addressed to the University Development Office at UniversityDevelopment@letu.edu or 903-233-3819.
