I was born and raised in Indiana. I obtained my undergraduate degree at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. During my time in college, I had the opportunity to serve in two leadership positions and be mentored by some incredible people. While my undergraduate degree is in Organizational Management, I realized I had more passion for working with college students than I did for business. I decided to apply to the Master of Arts in Higher Education graduate program at Taylor. I only applied to this specific program knowing that if it was God’s will I would be accepted. I graduated from the MAHE program in 2013 and cherished my time in the program.

Part of my story is that I had a difficult time securing a job in higher education after graduation. It was a rough 19 month journey of trusting that the Lord would be faithful in his own timing and plan for my life. After graduation, I moved back into my parents’ house, worked in retail and as a substitute teacher, and continued to look for a job. In August 2014, I accepted a position as a Resident Director & Student Activities Coordinator at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV.

I love spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, and discovering new things. One of my passions is seeing other people do what they love. So I love to attend intramural games, athletic events, music concerts, senior project presentations, and more. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV and movies, adult coloring, cooking, baking, and looking at sunsets.

I am excited for this new experience at LeTourneau University as the Director of Davis Hall & the Quads. I am passionate about speaking truth to my students about the potential I see in them, molding them into the adults of the future, and challenging their thinking. I hope to share my experiences and story with them as we strive to grow and learn together.
