I am originally from northeast Mississippi, but am proud to live in East Texas with my husband and our two children. I moved to Longview to attend LeTourneau University and have fallen in love with the city and love serving at my alma mater.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with experience in private practice, community and agency counseling and consultation, nonprofit executive management, and higher education administration. I spent six years working in federal and state programming in fields like crime prevention, marriage education, and foster care advocacy. I currently serve as the Director of Career Services for LeTourneau University and provide career counseling and guidance to students and alumni.
My research interests include adoptive parenting and families, college student experiences, online education and programming, and counseling supervision.
