When I was a young adult, I recalled a teacher say that God had a plan for my life, and then she read aloud (Jerimiah 1:5) “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” This Scriptural verse gave me the confidence that God was Sovereign and that He had a purpose for me in life as well as in vocation.
In reference to God’s call to a vocation, I followed the vocational path to education because I was shaped by teachers and educators that took the time to help me grow from both an educational and spiritual perspective. I want to use the gifts and talents that the Lord gave me to enhance His kingdom.
