Worship Arts
“I believe with all the living soul that He gave me that God wanted a creature so like Himself that He could always be in fellowship with him.”
- R.G. LeTourneau
LeTourneau University's Worship Arts program fuses biblical foundations, musical preparation and practical training. Today's worship leaders are part technical director, part musician and part shepherd. And our program provides the hands-on experience to prepare you for a career in well-rounded worship leadership.
Our Worship Arts students not only receive exceptional theological training, but they also prepare for tri-weekly university chapel services by setting up lights, sound and video. Not to mention, they have the opportunity to interact with and learn from visiting worship leaders, including Paul Baloche, Michael Card, Dennis Jernigan, Newsboys, David Crowder and more.
Is God calling you to a place where you will lead others in worship? At LeTourneau University, you will learn about worship and journey to become a deeper worshiper. Learning and practice go hand-in-hand as you develop worship leadership skills. That's why our Worship Arts degree program combines the hands-on training, experience and teaching in the practice of worship to equip you for an effective worship ministry. Here, you will:
